Titanium ore is an important metal mineral resource widely used in aviation, aerospace, military and other fields. The mining and utilization of titanium ore is of great strategic significance for improving China's industrial level and national defense strength. 1、 Background of the experiment

The beneficiation process of titanium ore mainly includes processes such as gravity separation, flotation, magnetic separation, etc. Among them, gravity separation is the most basic and important beneficiation process. At present, the main titanium ore gravity separation processes at home and abroad include heavy medium beneficiation, flotation, centrifugal separation, and other methods. However, these methods all have some drawbacks, such as the heavy medium beneficiation process requiring a large amount of water and electricity resources, the flotation process having high requirements for mineral particle size, and the low separation efficiency of the centrifugal separation process. Therefore, we need to find a new type of titanium ore gravity separation process in order to improve the beneficiation efficiency of titanium ore.

2、 Experimental principle

4、 Test results

After multiple experiments and parameter adjustments, we have obtained a set of ideal titanium ore sorting results. The equipment parameter is: feed flow rate is 10m ³/ h. Water flow rate is 2m ³/ h. When the inclination angle is 6, the sorting efficiency of titanium ore reaches 85% and the grade reaches 45%. Compared to traditional heavy medium beneficiation and flotation processes, this experimental method has the advantages of energy conservation, environmental protection, and high sorting efficiency.

5、 Conclusion

This experiment adopted a new type of titanium ore gravity separation method, and achieved ideal separation results by optimizing and adjusting equipment parameters and operating methods. This method has the advantages of high sorting efficiency, energy conservation and environmental protection, and simple operation, and is suitable for the gravity separation of titanium ore and the separation of other minerals.
